Porcelain statuette "Yes, Mom!" made at Riga porcelain factory.
The author of the model produced in 1960 is one of the classics of porcelain sculptures in Latvia — L. Novozhenets.
The statuette depicts a girl with a ball called by her mother. The height of the porcelain statuette is 11 cm.

L. Novozhenets shows us an obedient girl who played a ball a second ago, but her mother’s voice came, the girl pressed a ball to herself, turned her head towards her mother and listened to what she was saying.
The prototype of this girl was the neighbor's daughter, the author of the model loved, and often played ball with her. Therefore, the playful mood and energy of their communication passed on the statuettes.

In addition to the well-conveyed mood, the clothes of the girl are also clearly visible. Sandals from the sixties, a dress with large dots and a bow: exactly what children wore those years.

The intraglaze painting with color paints gives this porcelain statuette not only an expensive look, but also a special charm.

In 60s of the last century, however, as now, their owners love to consider how fashionable it is to say: “Meditate” in front of this figurine or looking at it, having a warm conversation. Now, in the age of craze for social networks and virtual communication, live communication is becoming more popular.
